Perfect size and low cost. It’s a Win-Win!

I moved into a new apartment about 6 months ago and required some fresh Trash Can (because I didn’t maintain all of them from my prior house). I searched high and low at discount stores, house stores, Amazon, etc. But non had the exact Trash Can style and size that I was looking for.

Then I came across these Umbra eco-friendly trashcans. A bit reluctant to order a trash can on-line (although I do buy just about everything else online) I tried 1 out.

I am extremely pleased and have because ordered a couple much more. These are a great size for a home-office, bathrooms, closet (to throw dry-cleaning tags into), etc. The bright colors inside the cans are a pleasant surprise when changing the bags out.

These are sturdy, nicely made trash cans and I highly suggest this Trash Can.

Not Great; But Good Value!

I was a little disappointed in this trash can that we purchased to complement our bath set: Croscill Cheshire 4-Piece Bath Set, Bronze. First, it is not rigid and easily changes shape. Second, it’s clearly plastic – “Metalla” although spelled like “Metal” is about the furthest thing from it. Third, the photo is a small deceiving as the can is bronze with dark highlights, whilst our other fixtures and accessories are the opposite (so it’s much more gold than dark).

Nevertheless, it does have some redeeming qualities that saved it from 2-stars or fewer. The trash can we wanted was over $40 on Amazon, so for the exact same price I can get three of these and not feel bad about throwing them out as they are bio-degradable. Also, this one is twice the size so I can use real trash bags and don’t need to empty it as frequently. It could get four stars if they produced the material or structure more rigid – it may still not look like metal, but at least it would feel solid.

Great product – especially for the price!

I got one of these for our bedroom, and was so pleased with it I just ordered another one. It’s the ideal size (not too little). Yes it is plastic, however it has a nice metallic finish to it. The furniture in our room is a deep brown, and this goes fantastic with it. This was an excellent Trash Can.
